BM8D is a beam type strain gauge for shear.
The beam type of sensors is used for the manufacture of platform scales and weighing systems. It has established itself as one of the mass design versions used in industrial weighing. Due to its low profile and high metrological characteristics, this type of sensor is widely used in many industrial weighing systems. The BM8D load cell can be used in harsh industrial environments (alkaline and acidic environments). The body is made of stainless steel with laser welding, the load cell protection class is IP68 (full dust and moisture protection). Recommended for use in meat processing plants and dairies.
